Steps

  1. Accept the '<REDACTED>: UCM Order (S)' contract under the IASI Event section in the Contracts Manager.
  2. Fly a small salvage ship such as the MISC Fortune or Drake Vulture to the salvage claim marker in the asteroid field.
  3. Switch to fracture mode to break down the target wreck, such as an Argo RAFT, into disintegratable segments.
  4. Disintegrate the fractured pieces using the salvage laser to generate construction rubble.
  5. Eject at least 9 SCU of construction rubble cargo containers from the salvage processing station into the cargo hold.
  6. Quantum travel to ARC-L4 Faint Glen Station, HUR-L2 Faithful Dream Station, or Wala, land in an assigned hangar, and lower the freight elevator using the terminal to complete the transfer.

Risks

  • Derelict ships may occasionally have active shields or power systems that prevent fracturing until manually turned off inside the wreck.
  • Tumbling wreckage pieces following hull fracturing can collide with and damage the salvage ship.
  • Medium and large tier event salvage contracts award nearly identical event points but require tedious cargo transfers at stations without direct Reclaimer hangar access.

Required Capabilities

  • Salvage ship
  • Cargo hold
